not that I am an angry fan boy (you’ll say that I am anyway) but…
trekkers and trekkies are both popular terms. It is only trekkers that get mad while I am sure the trekkies (myself) don’t care what you call us.
the rough definition:
Trekkers: People that are OUT there LIVING star trek (I would assume this is people wearing costumes and going to conventions etc)
Trekkies: People that like the show in a more enthusiastic way than the casual television viewer
figured i would fact check that for you
Also, I can’t believe you mentioned wilfred brimley more than once! (*and his diabetESS* commercial)
