Today’s show finds the nerds asking what the heck is so special about the concept of a Google phone? After all, over the last 100 years, we’ve been promised several technologies that just never happened. Author Paul Milo drops by the Flimm Building to talk to the nerds about why he wanted to be a space trucker, as well as other topics from his new book, Your Flying Car Awaits.
We look at the “Twoddler”, a stunning and promising new technology that will be obsolete by the time you read this. If so, it will join the list of everyday things that have become extinct over the last decade.
Art Carlson confesses his desire to get an ultraviolet tattoo, while Crashboy reciprocates by confessing his crush on the girl who builds Millennium Falcon beds (the show’s not called “Lesser Nerds” for nothing).
We also look at rhinos, cougars and swine flu. Just in time for the holidays!

Intyeresting note about the fax machine. It is still quite relevant in the real estate business…and I would assume other industries that require signed legal papers to be transferred electronically. The strange thing about it is that some of the time the fax/printer/scanner is used to scan the document and then e-mail it. Why not just use a scanner? Because if it is in the machine and the other person has a fax…why not just fax it rather than go through the extra step? So the fax may live a while longer yet…..
