			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So the next time someone is having a Beta/VHS conversation, or even a Bluray/HD DVD conversation, the nerds can tell you how to trump them all&#8230; just say &#8220;CED Videodisc&#8221; and watch the room grow silent.  Don&#8217;t know what it is?  Well, frankly, we didn&#8217;t either until a <a title="What's this &quot;Facebook&quot; thing?" href="http://www.facebook.com/lessernerds" target="_blank">Lesser Listener got us on to it</a>.  It seems the battle between CED and Laserdisc was no <em>Clash of The Titans</em>.  Which reminds us: what do movie theatres have to gain from switching to 3D projectors?  <a title="The world according to Katz" href="http://www.variety.com/article/VR1118017453.html?categoryid=13&amp;cs=1&amp;ref=bd_film" target="_blank">Apparently? A lot!</a></p>
<p>This week, the nerds are concerned about your health.</p>

So even though we can&#8217;t know what comes after death, we can at least know what&#8217;s in iPhone OS 4: <a title="Fuck." href="http://www.nytimes.com/2010/04/09/technology/09apple.html?sudsredirect=true" target="_blank">ads</a>. And more addictive games.</p>
