Pity poor Art… here he was worried that he hadn’t shaved for the big show today… it turns out an unshaven geek is exactly what the ladies are looking for (at least that’s what they’re telling the geeky researchers who ask questions like that)! However, if you’re the one who’s looking for the ladies, seems you should probably stay away from the app store.

And as if we needed to prove our geek bona fides, the nerds profess a passion for a remote control Millennium Falcon.

A plethora of Lesser Nerds updates came across our desk here high atop the Flimm Building this week. The first tells us the news that William Shatner has been cast as the dad on the upcoming “Shit My Dad Says” – a development Crashboy welcomes with open arms, and Art welcomes with closed nose. The second tells us whether or not Crashboy’s middle school nemesis is a grown up “vajazzler“. And finally, we give away the “Texts From Last Night” books from last week’s contest. (turns out Lesser Nerds has quite a few lady listeners! Who knew.)

Speaking of the ladies, we take a moment this week to tip our hats and note the passing of Ronald Howes, the inventor of the Easy Bake oven.

But we also celebrate a bit of life, acknowledging the 20th birthday of Adobe Photoshop (also known as Adobe Photoshop Software©… all rights reserved).

The nerds speculate on the ethnic background of the name “The Edge”, while learning U2′s lead guitarist is cutting part of the California coast away in a veiled attempt to live up to his name. Maybe he can move in with the members of the Mars Society, who are currently proving that Belgians might not be the best choice for a trip to the red planet.

All this, plus the M.I.T sex survey, and what will hopefully be the one and only mention of Pauly Shore on the podcast (we promise).
