Today’s episode finds the nerds debating the merits of the Web 2.0 suicide machine (something Facebook has clearly already done with predictable results).

But in looking for something to live for, we come across the charms of Texas native Kayla Kromer, who drops by the Lesser Nerds studio to discuss exactly what compelled her to build a hamburger bed, a Millennium Falcon bed, and why she may be the only person in North America with a passion for Jar Jar Binks (but Crashboy is too shy to ask her what SHE thinks of the man who does Star Wars body paint – NSFW).

Crashboy tells us why kids today expected more technological advancements by now, while Art tells us why the senior circuit is quite fine with tech today, thank you very much. Too bad they probably won’t be around to experience the advent of light emitting walls.

And we speculate on exactly what kind of coffin would be suitable for the late great Curtis Allina, inventor of the modern Pez dispenser (and yes, you’ll be able to see the punchline coming down Broadway).

As the nerds sat down for their weekly staff meeting last week high atop the Flimm Building, the discussion turned to what we could do to reward our faithful followers for 37 years of loyal podcast listening.

The answer was stunningly simple… a clip show!

After all, when people as disparate as Cyprian of IJustMadeLove.com or Tony Dyson, the creator of R2 D2 have dropped by the studio, it’s only right to share them at the end of the year. 2009 also found us talking to twitter sensation Roof Coffee Cup guy, (who almost got arrested for talking to us) and Professor Jeff Eely who filled us in on the death of pinball.

As if that wasn’t enough, Paul Milo, author of “Your Flying Car Awaits” stopped in to tell us about being a space trucker.

What more could a person ask for this festive holiday season?!
