Ah, the holiday season approacheth. So the nerds thought we’d throw a party for all the people who put the pep in the podcast. Art pulled a few strings and got us in to New York’s legendary Russian Tea Room where we once again get put by the bathroom! Crashboy sees a silver lining though, as our location allowed us to chat with lots of people as they answered nature’s call.

We all celebrate this time of year differently. Some open one present on Christmas eve, some have Chinese food, and some have a statue of a Spanish peasant taking a dump. After all, celebrations around the world can get kind of wacky. Heck, even Ron Jeremy is busy this holiday season, making a short film mostly just because the title was kinda funny. And in celebration of the opening of “Tron: Legacy”, we take an oh so brief look at some of the original “Tron”‘s biggest mistakes, including a bit of a whopper.

Then it’s interview time at the Russian Tea Room. The nerds look high and low for someone to give us the goods on the hottest nerd gifts this season… thus tech guru Carmi Levy drops by to tell us why that 3D TV might be a really expensive clothes rack in a few years.

Of course, in a few years we might not even be around. It turns out the U.S. government has some new guidelines for what to do in case of a nuclear explosion. The problem? Figuring out a way to tell everyone without making the entire country freak out.

All that plus, Larry Flynt’s give of love to Julian Assange, 9 ways to get in touch with Santa, and a few holiday surprises. All on Krampus’ favourite podcast, Lesser Nerds.

After all, over the last 100 years, we’ve been promised several technologies that just never happened.
